Types of Manuscript

Journal of Educational Science and E-Learning (JESE) accepts the following types of manuscripts:

1. Original Research Article

Reports original empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. The manuscript should present a clearly defined research problem, appropriate research methodology, relevant findings, a critical discussion, and conclusions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge, theory, and/or practice in education and educational science.

2. Review Article

Provides a critical, systematic, and comprehensive synthesis of previously published research on a specific topic within the scope of the journal. Review articles may include systematic reviews, scoping reviews, integrative reviews, or other rigorous literature review approaches. The manuscript should synthesize existing evidence, identify research trends and gaps, and provide meaningful directions for future research.

3. Case Study Article

Presents an in-depth and systematic investigation of a particular educational case, institution, program, classroom, learning practice, educational technology implementation, or educational phenomenon. The manuscript should provide adequate contextual information, employ an appropriate case study methodology, and offer a systematic analysis that generates meaningful insights for educational research and practice.

4. Conceptual/Theoretical Article

Discusses educational concepts, theories, models, frameworks, or perspectives based on a critical and comprehensive analysis of relevant scholarly literature. The manuscript should demonstrate a clear conceptual or theoretical contribution, develop meaningful arguments or propositions, and provide new insights that may inform educational research, policy, or practice.

General Requirements

All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Educational Science and E-Learning (JESE) must meet the following requirements:

  1. The manuscript must be original and must not have been previously published in any journal, book, conference proceeding, or other publication.

  2. The manuscript must not be simultaneously submitted to or under consideration by another journal.

  3. The manuscript must fall within the scope of Journal of Educational Science and E-Learning (JESE).

  4. The manuscript must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines, including requirements regarding manuscript structure, formatting, references, and submission procedures.

  5. Authors must comply with applicable research ethics, publication ethics, and academic integrity standards.

  6. Manuscripts must disclose any relevant conflicts of interest and funding information, where applicable.

  7. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet its scope, quality standards, ethical requirements, or publication policies.
