Copyright Policy

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles in the Journal of Educational Science and E-Learning (JESE).

By submitting and publishing an article in JESE, authors retain ownership of the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication and a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and make the article available electronically through the journal's website, repositories, indexing services, and other scholarly communication platforms.

Authors retain the right to share, distribute, reproduce, and reuse their published work in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the article's publication in JESE is properly acknowledged.

The publication of an article in JESE does not transfer copyright ownership from the authors to the publisher. The authors remain the copyright holders of their work.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original and do not infringe the copyright, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of third parties.

Where a manuscript contains third-party materials, authors are responsible for obtaining permission where required and for appropriately acknowledging the source and applicable license.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • retain copyright ownership of their published work;

  • share and distribute the published article;

  • reuse the article in accordance with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license;

  • deposit or archive the published article in appropriate institutional or subject repositories, subject to the terms of the applicable license;

  • use the published work for teaching, research, educational, and other lawful scholarly purposes; and

  • create derivative works in accordance with the terms of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
