Aim and Scope

Aim

Journal of Educational Science and E-Learning (JESE) aims to disseminate high-quality scholarly research, theoretical studies, and innovative practices that contribute to the advancement of educational science, teaching and learning, and the effective integration of technology in education.

JESE provides a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, and other education professionals to share evidence-based knowledge, innovations, and developments that enhance the quality, effectiveness, accessibility, and relevance of education and learning.

Scope

JESE welcomes original research articles, review articles, case studies, and conceptual or theoretical articles addressing, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • Educational Science and Learning — theories, practices, processes, and contemporary issues in teaching and learning;
  • Learning Innovation and Educational Technology — innovative approaches, strategies, tools, and technologies that support teaching and learning;
  • Learning Models, Methods, and Media — development, implementation, evaluation, and effectiveness of learning models, instructional methods, learning media, and instructional designs;
  • Curriculum Development and Evaluation — curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, innovation, and curriculum-related issues across educational contexts;
  • Digital Learning and E-Learning — online learning, blended learning, mobile learning, learning management systems, digital learning environments, and other technology-enhanced learning;
  • Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Education — the application, development, evaluation, and implications of AI and machine learning for teaching, learning, assessment, educational management, and learning analytics;
  • Internet of Things (IoT) in Education — the application of connected devices, smart learning environments, and IoT-based technologies to support educational and learning processes;
  • Emerging Technologies in Education — virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), extended reality (XR), educational applications, learning analytics, and other emerging technologies relevant to education and learning.

JESE welcomes studies conducted across early childhood, primary, secondary, higher, vocational, non-formal, and lifelong education, provided that the research has a clear contribution to educational science, teaching and learning, or technology-enhanced education.
